Mr. Hou Sorith is an agricultural development specialist with a strong focus on rural sustainability and agroecology. He holds a Master of Agriculture in International Development from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and an MBA in Project Management from Cambodian Mekong University. Mr. Sorith serves as a Lecturer at the Royal University of Agriculture and a Research Coordinator at Eco-System Services for Soil and Land Use Center (ECOLAND). His expertise includes agroecology, value-chain analysis, research methodologies, and rural development, with hands-on experience in data analysis using R. With his interest in exploring innovative practices in agroecology and rural sustainability, he collaborates with various stakeholders on projects such as pesticide reduction, bio-input innovation, and strengthening sustainable farming systems, knowledge management and cooperative development.
